My story
My favorite place in the world is deep in the wilderness of Africa.
Walking beneath a vast sky, camera in hand, surrounded by raw nature reminds me of who I truly am.
The untamed part of myself I sometimes forget.
For years, Africa was my sweetest escape. But I kept wondering:
Could everyday life feel more like this?
Mine felt like sitting on a bullet train. A blur.
Achieving, performing, chasing the next milestone without knowing where I was rushing to. Professionally, I was thriving.
Personally, I was falling apart. I was lonely.
And underneath it all was one fear:
What if I die alone?
Leaving corporate was not simply a career decision.
I needed to change the way I was living.
Eventually, love became my guide.
I reconnected with myself. I learned to listen to what I needed, set boundaries, walk away from what did not feel right without guilt, and make choices that felt true to me.
At 42, after a failed marriage and a toxic relationship, I fell in love again. What surprised me was not only finding the right partner.
It was discovering how different life feels when you share it with someone who allows you to be fully yourself.
Six years ago, I made myself a promise: whatever I created next had to come from love and had to be true to my wild heart.
Life is still complex. There is still uncertainty.
But I no longer need to know exactly where the road is going.
I have learned to trust myself, enjoy the in-between and fall in love with the journey again and again.
That is Wild at Heart.
A return to love.
